Skin Conditions – Hyperhidrosis (Excessive Sweating)

This is a common disorder of excessive sweating from armpits, palms and feet. Sweating under the armpit can cause clothes to stain as well as body odour. There are few treatments available for this embarrassing condition. Injection of a neurotoxin is an effective treatment to deactivate the sweat glands and results generally last for up to nine months. However, a newer and more permanent method of treating axillary hyperhidrosis is Miradry, which uses an FDA approved microwave technology to eliminate the sweat glands.
